This will be my last update as Environmental Warden, I am standing down as of today to pursue other business interests. I have enjoyed my time as Warden and feel I have achieved a great deal in that time. As I understand it, my position will filled sometime in the future so I wish good luck to my successor who ever it may be. The projects I started will continue, the litter bin and dog fouling signs project has now been completed and you will see the new signs all over Baildon distinguished by the Parish Council logo in the bottom right hand corner.
This morning as I roamed accross Baildon Moor it was nice to see that things are beggining to happen in relation to missuse of the land, new signs have been erected to warn users of offroad vehicles that they are breaking the law (my pet hate) also signs warning about fly tipping. As I continued accross the Moor I was pleased to see a Red Kite flying overhead way on the tops near Hope Hill, something I had not seen in that area before, this reassured me what a special place Baildon was to live and work.
Many Thanks
Keith
