Co-option of Peter Haley
At the February meeting of the Baildon Parish Council Peter Haley was co-opted to represent the Baildon East ward. Peter who is 71, is married and has two children and grandchildren. A grant for Baildon Rifle and Pistol Club was agreed to help fund archery equipment that will be used by many Baildon groups.
Baildon History Society had samples of what promises to be excellent details of walks in and around Baildon.
The progress of the Warden was reported at this meeting. Keith North Baildon Parish Council Warden, has been making contacts with local businesses and community groups to identify some of the issues that they would like to see tackling in Baildon. Keith has also spent time patrolling around Baildon and getting to know some of the Bradford Council, Police and other agencies that will be useful in his work.
