The Parish Council first four year term is now over, and a new council took office in May 2011.Over the four years the precept has been held at £7.50, the original level as set initially by Bradford Council This gives the Parish Council a budget of just over £46,000 for the year. Out of this money the Parish Council funds all of its administration, staffing costs and ventures that it plans to undertake in the year.
The Parish Council is continuing with its popular Grant scheme, has allocated additional money for the Christmas lights, Baildon In Bloom and a parish celebration. New items for the year include an allocation of funds for some new bins for litter and dog fouling and signage to promote the use of all bins. Money has also been allocated for a Community Handbook.
